Executive Board
The CUTA Executive board consists of CUTA Officers, and 6 members elected from the elementary level and six from the secondary level. The primary duties of the CUTA Executive Board are as follows:
- Coordinate activities of CUTA.
- Direct bargaining activities and grievance processing of CUTA.
- Approve appointment and removal of bargaining team members.
- Recommend a budget for CUTA to the Representative Council.
- Approve Committee Appointments.
- Adopt the Standing Rules for the Association
- Conduct monthly or emergency meetings and disseminate information to members via the Representative Council.

Bargaining Team
The CUTA Bargaining Team represents and bargains for the CUTA bargaining unit. The responsibility and authority for directing this bargaining process on behalf of the association is vested in CUTA Executive Board, subject to policies established by the CUTA Representative Council. It is composed of of six members: a chairperson, two members from secondary school sites and two members from elementary sites. A vice chairperson may also be appointed from existing secondary or elementary members.

Organizing Committee
The CUTA Organizing Team is responsible to organize, communicate with, and activate the membership under direction of the CUTA Executive Board. Whether in crisis or not, the Organizing Team's objective is to maintain a sense of unity in CUTA through events, communications, and school site visits.

Grievance Committee
The CUTA Grievance Committee is responsible for executing all grievances filed by CUTA members. If a member feels the contract has been violated, the Grievance Chair can initiate the filing process at Level 1, up through Level 4, which is arbitration.

Political Action Committee
The CUTA Political Action Committee (PAC) seeks to improve relationships with school board members, to interview potential candidates for CUSD School Board, and to endorse those school board candidates who are in accord with CUTA's commitment to students, fellow members, and the teaching profession in general.
The CUTA PAC can consist of up to 12 members including a Chair, CUTA officers, and 4 members from the secondary level and 4 members from the elementary level.

Social/Fundraising Chair
The CUTA Social Chair/Fundraising committee's primary task is to organize and execute CUTA's Social Functions which include beginning and end of year parties. In addition, this committee will typically organize the CUTA Pancake Breakfast, where all proceeds go to the CUTA Scholarship Fund. Also, this group participates and helps organize teams and volunteers such events as Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Empty Bowls.
